A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM APPROVING AND AUTEORIZIDG THE EXE-
CUTION OF THE PLNEWAL OF A LICENSE AGREEENT
WITH SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA zoisoa COMPANY FOR
PARK PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, by agreement dated Mav 27, 1968, Southern
California Edison Company did give to the City of Anaheim a
License for the Barre Villa Park 220 kv Transmission Line Right
of Way for public park purposes for a period of five (5) years
from March 1, 1968, to February 28, 1973, in accordance with
the terms and conditions provided in said agreement as amended
by letter dated February 20, 1969; and
WHEREAS, said License Agreement was renewed on March
1, 1973, as authorized by Citv Council Resolution No. 73R-131;
and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that it would be for
the benefit and in the best interests of the City to again re-
new said License Agreement with the Southern California Edison
Company.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that said License Agreement entered into be-
tween the Southern California Edison Company and the City on
May 27, 1968, as amended by letter dated February 20, 1969, be
renewed and the same is hereby renewed for a term of five (5)
years commencing on the 1st day of March, 1976, and ending on
the 28th day of February, 1981 subject to the same reservations,
terms, convenants and conditions.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and the City
Clerk be, and they are, hereby authorized to execute said re-
newal agreement for and on behalf of the City of Anaheim.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Finance Director be,
and he is hereby, authorized to pay to said Southern California
Edison Company the sum of $156.00 on March 1st, of each year for
said real property as provided in said agreement, as amended,
said payment to include payrment for March 1, 1976.
