A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM APPROVING THE ANNEXATION TO THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM OF THE TERRITORY KNOWN AND DESIGNATED
BALL SUNKIST NO. 6 ANNEXATION.
WHEREAS, said Local Agency Formation Commission
authorized the City of Anaheim to annex said territory with-
out notice and hearing and without an election pursuant to
the authority vested in said Commission by Section 54797.1
of the Government Code; and
WHEREAS, said territory proposed to be annexed to
said City of Anaheim is situated in the County of Orange,
State of California, and is contiguous to the City of Anaheim,
and is uninhabited territory. That said consent contained a
description of said territory in words and figures as herein-
after in this resolution described; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
authorized to approve said annexation by resolution without
notice and hearing pursuant to the approval of said Local
Agency Formation Commission and Section 54797.1 of the Govern-
ment Code.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council
of the City of Anaheim finds:
That the City of Anaheim submitted proof satisfactory
to the Local Agency Formation Commission that all of the owners
of land within the territory proposed to be annexed have given
their signed consent to such annexation. That said territory
proposed to be annexed to said City of Anaheim is situated in
the County of Orange, State of California, and is contiguous
to the City of Anaheim, and is uninhabited territory. That
said consent signed by all of the owners of land within the ter-
ritory proposed to be annexed contained a description of said
territory in words and figures as hereinafter in this resolu-
tion described.
That the City of Anaheim filed said request to annex
said territory, containing the specific boundaries of the ter-
ritory to be annexed, with the Local Agency Formation Commis-
sion and said Local Agency Formation Commission approved said
annexation request of the City of Anaheim pursuant to Section
54797.1 of the Government Code.
That on the 9th day of Februar 1977
the Local Agency Formation Commission adopted Resort
No. 77 -31 in which said Commission authorized the City of
Anaheim to annex said territory in accordance with Section
54797.1 of the Government Code and further approved such
annexation of said territory without notice or hearing.

That the Local Agency Formation Commission further
by resolution, authorized the City Council of the City of
Anaheim to annex said territory without notice or hearing by
the City Council and without the requirement that an election
be held by the City on the question of said annexation.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the annexation of the
territory included within the boundaries of the BALL SUNKIST
NO. 6 ANNEXATION more particularly
described as follows, to wit:

That certain parcel of land located in the County
of Orange, State of California, described as
follows:
Beginning at a point in the existing City limit
line of the City of Anaheim, said point being in
the southeast corner of the Ball- Sunkist No. 5
Annexation to the City of Anaheim; thence follow-
ing along a portion of the easterly annexation
boundary line of the last mentioned annexation,
the following courses and distances: northerly
along a curve concave westerly and having a radius
of 1,030 feet through a central angle of 5 57'
26" an arc distance of 107.09 feet; thence N 0
01' 36" E, 350.53 feet to an intersection with a
line parallel with and 202.83 feet, as measured
at right angles, southerly of the centerline of
Bali Road, said parallel line being the southerly
line of the land described as Parcel One in the
Instrument recorded July 17, 1972 in Book 10226,
pages 966 through 969, Official Records; thence
leaving the last mentioned annexation boundary
line and following along the southerly line and
the easterly line of the land described in the
last mentioned deed, the following courses and
distances: S 89 39' 46" E, 161.83 feet; thence
N 0° 01' 36" E, 142.65 feet, more or less, to an
intersection with the southwesterly right of way
line of the State of California Orange Freeway
Route No. 57 as shown on State Division of High
ways Plan No. 9765, Plate F -4; thence following
along said State's southwesterly right of way
line as shown on the above mentioned plan, the
following courses and distances: S 79 57' 09"
E, 17.87 feet; S 89 °.02' 32" E, 60.00 feet;
S 87° 46' 09" E, 90.02 feet; S 77° 43' 56" E, 244.83
feet to the beginning of a curve concave south-
westerly and having a radius of 550 feet, a radial
line bearing N 12° 16' 04" E passes through said
point; thence southeasterly along said curve

through a central angle of 94 44' 54" an arc dis-
tance of 909.51 feet; thence S 17° 00' 58" W,
109.91 feet to an intersection with the northerly
annexation boundary line of the Cerritos Wasser
Annexation to the City of Anaheim; thence leaving
said State Right of Way line and following along
the northerly annexation boundary line of said
Cerritos Wasser Annexation, the following courses
and distances:
N 89 32' 20" W, 564 feet, more or less; S 40° 54'
01" W, 550 feet, more or less; N 89 45' 36" W,
472.63 feet to an intersection with a line parallel
with and 30 feet westerly of the centerline of
Sunkist Street, said point of intersection being a
point in a curve concave southeasterly and having a
radius of 1,030 feet, a radial line bearing N 44°
02' 10" W passes through said point of intersection;
thence leaving said Cerritos Wasser Annexation boun-
dary line and following along said parallel line
northeasterly along said curve through a central
angle of 3' 48' 33" an arc distance of 68.47 feet
to the beginning of a reverse curve concave north-
westerly and having a radius of 970 feet, a radial
line bearing S 40° 13' 37" E passes through said
point of beginning of reverse curve; thence north-
easterly and northerly along said curve through a
central angle of 43° 16' 23" an arc distance of
732.60 feet to an intersection with the southerly
annexation boundary line as established by the
aforementioned Ball Sunkist No. 5 Annexation to
the City of Anaheim; thence following along a
portion of the last mentioned southerly annexation
boundary line S 89° 58' 35" E, 60.00 feet to the
point of beginning.
is hereby approved and said territory is hereby annexed to
and incorporated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, and is hereby designated as the
BALL SUNKIST NO. 6 ANNEXATION to the City of
Anaheim.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that from and after the date
of the adoption of this resolution and and the filing of a
certified copy thereof with the Secretary of State of the
State of California, the annexation of the territory herein
described shall be deemed to be and shall be complete and
thenceforth such annexed territory shall be, to all intents
and purposes, a part of the City of Anaheim, and from and
after the effective date of such annexation, all property
therein shall be subject to taxation equally with the prop-
erty within the City of Anaheim and shall be taxed to pay its
proportionate share of the existing indebtedness and liability
of said City of Anaheim contracted prior to or existing at
the time of such annexation pursuant to the written consent
of the owners of property in said annexed territory filed with
the Clerk of the City of Anaheim prior to the adoption of this
resolution.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by
me this 8th day of March 1977
