1977-122RESOLUTION NO. 77R -122 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DENYING CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT NO. 1680. WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim did receive a request for a Conditional Use Permit from MAURICE PINTO, owner; DARRELL NOE and L. WEISBURG, agents, to permit a wedding chapel on the following described property: The North 60 feet of that portion of Lot 9 of a replat of the "Orchard Park Tract in the City of Anaheim, as shown on a Map thereof recorded in Book 7, Page 6 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of said Orange County, described as follows: Beginning at the Northwest corner of said Lot 9, said point being in the monumented center line of Palm Street, and running thence Easterly along the Northerly line of said Lot, 179.75 feet; thence Southerly parallel with said center line of Palm Street, 120 feet; thence Westerly parallel with said Northerly line, 179.75 feet to said center line; thence Northerly along said center line 120 feet to the point of beginning. AND WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission did hold a public hearing at the City Hall in the City of Anaheim upon said request on January 17, 1977, notices of which said public hearing were duly given as required by law and the provisions of Title 18, Chapter 18.76 of the Anaheim Municipal Code; and WHEREAS, said Commission, after due inspection, investi- gation and studies made by itself and in its behalf and after due consideration of all evidence and reports offered at said hearing, did adopt its Resolution No. PC77 -13 denying Conditional Use Permit No. 1680; and WHEREAS, thereafter, within twenty -two (2 2) days from the date of the adoption of said resolution, a written appeal was filed with the City Council protesting the action of the City Planning Commission in denying said Conditional Use Permit and said appeal was set for public hearing on February 22, 1977, at the City Hall, in the City of Anaheim, and notices of such public hearing were duly given as required by law and the provisions of Title 18, Chapter 18.76 of the Anaheim Municipal Code; and WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said public hearing, the City Council did duly hold and conduct such hearing and did give all persons interested therein an opportunity to be heard and did receive evidence and reports; and WHEREAS, the City Council does find, after careful con- sideration of the recommendations of the City Planning Commission and all evidence and reports offered at said hearing, that Condi- tional Use Permit No. 1680 should be denied. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Anaheim that the action of the City Planning Commis- sion denying Conditional Use Permit No. 1680 be, and the same is hereby sustained, and that the request of1ELURICE PINTO, owner; DARRELL NOE and L. WEISBURG, agents to permit a wedding chapel on the hereinabove described property be, and the same is hereby, denied.
