1977-118WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim is filing certain
eminent domain actions in connection with the construction
of certain drainage facilities in the vicinity of Peralta
Hills within the City of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, unless agreements to permit entry upon
the properties involved by the owners thereof can be con-
summated, it will be necessary to seek Orders of Immediate
Possession through the Court; and
WHEREAS, Roman and Maria Slobodynskyj, being
owners of one of the properties involved, have signed an
agreement permitting the City of Anaheim to enter upon
their property reserving, however, the right to negotiate
the consideration to be paid by the City in condemning a
drainage easement; and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interests of the City
of Anaheim to execute said agreement on behalf of the City
of Anaheim.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City
Council of the City of Anaheim that the Mayor and City
Clerk be, and they are hereby, authorized and directed to
execute on behalf of the City of Anaheim that certain agree-
ment between the City of Anaheim and Roman and Maria
Slobodynskyj relating to eminent domain action and permis-
sion to enter upon their property to construct certain
drainage facilities.
