RESOLUTION TO. 77R- 109
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THL CITY
OF ANAHEIM APPROVING THE TERNS AND CONDITIONS
OF AN AMENDMENT TO AGREE:1ENT DATED APRIL 27,
1976, WITH THE COUNTY OF ORANGE IN CONNECTION
WITH REVENUE SHARING FOR DEVELOPMENT OF JUAREZ
PARK AND AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR
AND CITY CLERK TO =CUTE SAID AMENDMENT TO
AGPEEMENT ON BEHALF OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM.
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim and County of Orange entered
into an Agreement on the 27th day of April, 1976, to provide for
revenue sharing funds for the (tevelopment of Juarez Park; and
WHEREAS, schedule projections for development of said
Park have been delayed, primarily because:
The park grading plans needed to be redesigned
due to an unexpected grade change by the build-
ing architect for the library and adjacent
parking lot; and
The architect for the park control building could
not meet design time deadlines; and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the parties to amend the
of the contract Pertaining to the completion date; and
WHEREAS, an Amendment to the Agreement has been prepared,
of which are acceptable to the City of Anaheim.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the terms and con-
ditions of said Amendment to Agreement are hereby approved and
accepted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk
be, and they are hereby, authorized and directed to execute said
Amendment to Agreement on behalf of the City of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed byte
this 22nd day of February 1977.
