1977-081WHEREAS, the Cities of Anaheim, Garden Grove, and Orange
entered into an Agreement dated October 5, 1976, in connection with
the construction and operation of a fire training facility; and
WHEREAS, the parties desire to amend said Agreement to
provide that the Controller of the City of Garden Grove be designa-
ted as Treasurer and Controller of the Joint Powers Authority; and
WHEREAS, an Amendment to the said Agreement has been pre-
pared to provide for such designation; and
WHEREAS, the terms and conditions of said Amendment are
acceptable to the City Council of the City of Anaheim.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the terms and condi-
tions of said Agreement are hereby approved and accepted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk be,
and they are hereby, authorized and directed to execute said Agree-
ment on behalf of the City of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 8th day of February 1977.
