RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 76R -179, PERTAINING TO RULE 6,
PREMIUM PAY, BY ADDING SECTION 6.06.
WHEREAS, the Personnel Director and City task force have met and
conferred with the officials and employee representatives of the Anaheim
Police Association to discuss modification of rates of pay for police
employees assigned to work at Stadium Rock Concert events, and
WHEREAS, as a result thereof, the need exists to amend Resolution
No. 76R -179 which established premium pay provisions, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim does find that
adoption of the recommended new provision is in the best interests of the
City of Anaheim.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Anaheim that Resolution No. 76R -179 pertaining to premium pay be and the
same is hereby amended to read as follows:
6.06 Volunteer off -duty police department employees in the job classes
listed below shall be compensated at their present regular hourly
rate of pay for the first eight (8) hours of work performed when
engaged in internal security for Anaheim Stadium Rock Concert
events. At events where such assigned work exceeds eight (8)
hours in duration, such employees shall receive compensation at
the rate of time and one -half their regular hourly rate for all
time over eight (8) hours.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that except to the extend amended,
Resolution No. 76R -179 shall remain in full force and effect, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the effective date of this
Resolution shall be February 4, 1977.
