1977-067RESOLUTION NO. 77R -67 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM ORDERING THE VACATION AND ABANDON- MENT OF A CERTAIN PUBLIC SERVICE EASEMENT. (Public Utility Easement 76 -8A) WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim has elected to proceed pursuant to the provisions of the Public Services Easements Vacation Law (Section 50430 et seq. Government Code) in connection with the vacation and abandonment of public service easements; and WHEREAS, the City Council did, by resolution duly posted and published, give notice of its intention to abandon the follow- ing described public service easement (hereinafter "Easement to wit: That certain public utility easement, located in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, recorded in Book 11298, page 1677, Official Records, described as follows: Parcel One: A public utility easement for the instal- lation and maintenance of poles, conductors, cross arms and related electrical facilities, as shown on a map attached hereto and made a part hereof, over and across a strip of land 10 feet wide, lying within the East half of the West half of the Northeast quarter of the Northwest quarter of Section 24, Township 4 South, Range 10 West, in the Rancho San Juan Cajon de Santa Ana, as shown on a map recorded in Book 51, page 10, Miscellaneous Maps, records of said Orange County. Excepting therefrom the North half thereof. Also excepting therefrom those portions designated for overhang purposes only on the map designated Exhibit A attached hereto and made a part hereof. Parcel Two: A public utility easement 10 feet wide, for the overhang of electrical conductors only, over, across and within those portions of the above described Parcel One, as reflected on the map designated Exhibit A attached hereto and made a part hereof; and WHEREAS, on the 1st day of February, 1977, a public hearing was held to allow interested persons to submit evidence concerning said proposed abandonment; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim does find from the evidence submitted to it, that said Easement is un- necessary for present or prospective public use. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Anaheim does hereby order the vacation and abandonment of said Easement. AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be, and she is hereby, authorized and directed to cause a certified copy of this Resolution and Order, attested by her under the seal of the City of Anaheim to be recorded in the Office of the County Re- corder of Orange County, California.
