RESOLUTION NO. 77R 17
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM APPROVING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS
OF AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AND
THE ORANGE COUNTY COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT COUNCIL,
INC., RE FURNISHING MATCHING FUNDS TOWARD THE
PURCHASE OF THE VEHICLES TO TRANSPORT ELDERLY
AND HANCICAPPED CITIZENS.
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim desires to aid in the
transportation of elderly and handicapped citizens to and
from transportation, lunch and counseling (TLC) sites in the
City of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, the Orange County Community Development
Council, Inc., desires to obtain two (2) vehicles pursuant
to an agreement, dated September 16, 1975, with the State
of California Department of Transportation for the purchase
of vehicles, through the use of matching funds, to provide
transportation services for elderly and handicapped citizens
to and from TLC sites in the City of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, an Agreement has been prepared relating
to the purchase of said two (2) vehicles to provide said
transportation, and the terms and conditions thereof are
satisfactory to the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that said Agreement this day submitted
to the City Council to be made and entered into between the
City of Anaheim and the Orange County Community Development
Council, Inc., providing for the furnishing of Five Thousand
Dollars ($5,000) matching funds toward the purchase of two
(2) vehicles to transport elderly and handicapped citizens
to and from TLC sites in the City of Anaheim be, and the same
is hereby, approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk
be, and they are hereby, authorized and directed to execute
said Agreement on behalf of the City of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by
me this 18th day of January 1977.
