1977-016RESOLUTION NO. 77R 1 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO VACATE AND ABANDON CERTAIN PUBLIC STREET(S) OR ALLEY(S) AND FIXING A DATE FOR A HEARING THEREON. (Mac Duff Street 76 -9A) WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim does hereby elect to proceed under the provisions of the Street Vacation Act of 1941 (Section 8300 et seq., Streets and Highway Code) in connection with requests for vacation and abandonment of public streets located within the City of Anaheim. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Anaheim does hereby declare its intention to vacate, abandon and close to public use the following described street(s) and alley(s), to wit: Mac Duff Street, from the southerly right of way line of Stonybrook Drive to a point approximately 100 feet south of Stonybrook Drive as said street(s) or alley(s) are shown on a map or plan on file in the Office of the City Clerk of the City of Anaheim. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that these proceedings are undertaken subject to the following reservations and exceptions in favor of the following persons or parties: 1. An easement for public utility purposes over, under and across the easterly five feet thereof in favor of the City of Anaheim. 2. An easement for public utility purposes over, under and across the westerly ten feet of the easterly thirty feet thereof in favor of the City of Anaheim. 3. An easement for public utility purposes over, under and across the southerly five feet thereof in favor of the Pacific Telephone Company. 4. An easement for public utility purposes over, under and across the easterly five feet of the westerly eight feet of the northerly seventy feet thereof in favor of the Southern California Gas Company. 5. An easement for public utility purposes over, under and across the southerly five feet of the northerly seventy feet thereof in favor of the Southern California Gas Company. -1- 76 -9A BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that all persons interested in or objecting to said vacation and abandonment will be heard at a public hearing to be held at 3:00 o'clock P.M., or as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard, in the Council Chamber in the City Hall, 204 East Lincoln Avenue, Anaheim, California, on February 1, 1977. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this resolution and shall cause the same to be published in the Anaheim Bulletin, a newspaper of general circulation, printed, published and circulated in said City of Anaheim.
