A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM APPROVING THE TERI4S AND CONDITIONS
OF AN AGREE14ENT WITH ANAHEIM AREA VISITOR A1 -4D
CONVENTION BUREAU FOR PROBIOTIONAL, ADVERTISING
AND SALES ACTIVITIES AND AUTHORIZING AND DIREC-
ING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE SAID
AGREEMENT ON BEHALF OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM.
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim is in need of services in
connection with promoting the growth and enhancement of the com-
munity, encouraging visitors to come to the City of Anaheim and
promoting the holding of conventions, conferences and trade shows;
and
WHEREAS, Anaheim Area Visitor and Convention Bureau has
special knowledge, experience and facilities to provide such ser-
vices; and
WHEREAS, an agreement has been prepared whereby Anaheim
Area Visitor and Convention Bureau will provide such services; and
WHEREAS, the terms and conditions of said agreement are
acceptable to the City Council of the City of Anaheim.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the terms and condi-
tions of said agreement are hereby approved and accepted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk be,
and they are hereby, authorized and directed to execute said agree-
ment on behalf of the City of Anaheim.
