A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM APPROVING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS
OF AN AMENDMENT TO AN AGREEMENT DATED AUGUST 7,
1973, WITH THE CITY OF GARDEN GROVE IN CONNECTION
WITH FIRE AND RESCUE SERVICES; AND AUTHORIZING
AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE
SAID AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT ON BEHALF OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM.
WHEREAS, on the 7th day of August, 1973, the
cities of Anaheim and Garden Grove entered into an Agreement
providing, among other things, that in some circumstances
Garden Grove's Fire Department will respond to involvements
within the corporate limits of Anaheim and conversely,
Anaheim's Fire Department will in some circumstances
respond to involvements within the corporate limits of
Garden Grove; and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the said cities to
amend said Agreement for the addition of Exhibit "B" to
further define the respective territories covered by the
Agreement; and
WHEREAS, an Amendment to said Agreement has been
prepared providing for the addition of Exhibit "B" to said
Agreement; and
WHEREAS, the terms and conditions of said
Amendment to Agreement are acceptable to the City of Anaheim.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the terms and
conditions Of said Amendment to Agreement are hereby approved
and accepted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City
Clerk be, and they are hereby, authorized and directed to
execute said Amendment to Agreement on behalf of the City
Council of the City of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by
me this 14th day Of December , 1976.
