A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM APPROVING A MODIFICATION OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM CETA TITLE I GRANT, AND
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE SAID
MODIFICATION AND SUBSEQUENT MODIFICATIONS
PERTAINING TO THE FISCAL YEAR 1976-1977 CETA
TITLE I GRANT.
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim and the Orange
County Manpower Commission desire to modify the Agreement
to operate a Comprehensive Manpower Program under the
provisions of Title I of the Comprehensive Employment and
Training Act of 1973 (CETA); and
WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed and
considered a proposed Modification to the CETA Title I
Grant for the Comprehensive Manpower Program to increase
the amount to $674,162.00 from the City's Comprehensive
Employment and Training Act funds; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim
desires to authorize the City Manager of the City of
Anaheim to execute said CETA Title I Grant Modification and
subsequent modifications pertaining to the Fiscal Year 1976-
1977 on behalf of the City of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that it would be
for the benefit and in the best interests of the City to
approve said proposed CETA Title I Grant Modification, and
to authorize the disbursement of the funds for the approved
activities as allocated.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that said CETA Title T Grant Modifica-
tion this day submitted to the City Council providing for
increased funding for the Comprehensive Manpower Program in
the amount of $674,162.00 be, and the same is hereby,
approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Manager of
the City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to
execute said CETA Title I Grant Modification and subsequent
modifications pertaining to the Fiscal Year 1976-1977 on
behalf of the City of Anaheim.
