PARKS, RECREATION AND THE ARTS DEP2iRTMEN- TO
EXECUTE CERTAIN AGREEMENTS FOR AND ON BEHALF
OF THE CITY WHEN THE AMOUNTS DO NOT EXCEED
;2,500.00.
WHEREAS, the Charter of the City of Anaheim, Section
518 authorizes the City Council of -the City of Anaheim to permit
such "other office or officers as may be designated by the City
Council" to bind the City by contract; and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the City Council of the
City of Anaheim to designate the Director of Anaheim Parks, Rec-
reation and the Arts Department as the officer permitted to bind
the City by contract for recreational programs authorized and
approved by the budget up to the sum of $2,,500.00 per contract.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that it does hereby authorized the Director
of Parks, Recreation and the Arts Department to bind the City in
routine contracts for recreational programs authorized and ap-
proved in the budget up to the sum of X2,500.00 per contract.
