W'LlEPE"."'I'S, the City of Anaheim, pursuant to "shereco=enda-
tions of the Planning Cor.,amission of the City of Anaheim,, ado-oted a
General Plan for the City of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, on the 1st day of Nover:.Der, 1976, the CitV Plan-
ning Commission of -the City of Anaheim did hold a public hearing
to consider a General Plan AmenC_r..',Len-1U_. TI.-Je General Plan
does consider changing the land use designation for (1) area I -
Center City, to acco-mmodatUe the current Anaheim Redevelopment Con-
cept Plan for the anpro;:iraately 200 acres generally bounded by
Harbor Boulevard on the west; Cypress Street on the north, East
Street on the east; and Broadway on the south, and (2) area II -
Orangewood Avenue and Clementine Street, from residential to com-
mercial and/or residential uses for the approximately 15 acres
bounded by the Southern California Edison easement on the north;
Clementine Street on the east; Orangewood .-.Venue on the south; and
a line parallel to harbor Boulevard located appro.,:imatelv 310 feet
frora the centerline of Harbor Boulevard on the west, in accordance
with exhibits presented to the Planning Coraaission; and
WHEREMS, at said public hearing, the Planning Cozir-aission
did duly ado -pt its Resolution 17o. PC76-223 containing a report of,
its =Lindinci's, a summary of the evidence ;_presented at said hearing,
and a recoaimendation that said Amendment to the General Plan desig-
nated as Amiendiaent No. 141 be adopted by the City Council, changin';,
the land use designation for iirea I in accordance with E";.-hibit "A"
and for Area !I in accordance with Exhibit "B"; and
WHEREAS, upon receipt of said Resolution, s-Luwaary of
evidence, report of findings and recomi-,.ien&ations of the, City Plan-
ning Commission, the City Council did fix. the 16th day of l'-"ove-1)D

Amendment No. 141, changing the land use ld`esk;nation in the afore -
described Area I in accordance with El.,�hibit "ZA." and Area !I in ac-
cordance with Lxhibit "B" on file in the City Planning Depai-tm&nt.,
as reconmended by the Planning Co'.nmiission, should be
