A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM REJECTING ALL BIDS RECEIVED UP
TO THE HOUR OF 2:00 P .11. ON THE 4TH DAY OF
NOVEMBER, 1976, FOR THE LA PALMA PARI: TICKET
BOOTH CONSTRUCTIOT4, WORK ORDER NO. 9002.
WHEREAS, heretofore, on the 12th day of October, 1976,
the City Council of the City of Anaheim did adopt Resolution 110.
76R-642 finding and determining that public convenience and ne-
cessity required the construction and completion of the La Palma
Park Picket Booth Construction; and
WHEREAS, the City Council did authorize and direct the
City Clerk to publish a notice according to law inviting sealed
proposals for the above-mentioned public improvement, and fixing
the 4th day of November, 1976, at the hour of 2:00 o'clock P.M.
as the date and hour for the opening of said bids in the Council
Chamber in the City Hall, in the City of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, upon said 4th day of November, 1976, at the
hour of 2:00 o'clock P.2'4., the City Clerk and City Engineer did
open the bid received up to that hour, in public, in the City
Hall, in the City of Anaheim, and the City Engineer did review
the bid so received and did report the result thereof to the City
Council at its regular meeting held on the 9th day of November,
1976; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the big- :received
is in excess of the estimate of the City Engineer of -the cost of
said public improvement and is not representative of actual con-
struction costs and -ihat said bid should be rejected.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the bid received up to the hour of
2:00 o'clock P.M., on the 4th day of November, 1976, reviewed by
the City Engineer, and submitted to the City Council on 14ovember
9, 1976, be, and the same is hereby, rejected.
