A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING AN EASEMENT GRANT DEED
CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL
PROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT FOR SEWER LINE
PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the owners of said property have offered
and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
of Anaheim that the offer of
LLOYD N. BAXTER and AGATHA J. BAXTER
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real
property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, to be used for an easement for sewer line
purposes
and more particularly described as follows:
An easement for sewer line installation and maintenance
purposes only, over, under and across that portion of
Lot 14 of Tract 58, Peralta Hills Tract No. 1, as shown
on a Map recorded in Book 10, page 6 of Miscellaneous
Maps, records of said Orange County, described as follows:
Commencing at the Southeast corner of said Lot 14; thence
North 38 58' West 100.28 feet; thence South 53 39' 22"
West 30.03 feet to the true point of beginning; thence
continuing South 53 39' 22" West, 158.48 feet to a
point in the Northerly line of Peralta Hills Drive, 40
feet wide; thence South 75 48' West along said Northerly
line, a distance of 31.81 feet; thence North 53 39' 22"
East, 187.48 feet; thence South 38 58' East, 12 feet
to the true point of beginning.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Finance
of the City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay
to the owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds
of the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 2nd day of July 1968
