1968-370WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim and R. W. Beck and
Associates have heretofore, on the 27th day of June, 1967,
entered into an agreement whereby said R. W. Beck and
Associates was to perform certain studies and the design
of the Yorba Substation for the City, and
WHEREAS, R. W. Beck and Associates has been engaged
in performing said studies and design; and
WHEREAS, said studies and design indicate that the
scope of the work for the design of the Yorba Substation should
be expanded; and
WHEREAS, a form of agreement, entitled "First Amended
Agreement for Engineering Services," has this day been
submitted to the City Council to be made and entered into
between the parties, providing for the modification of said
agreement, dated June 27, 1967, as therein set forth; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that said "First
Amended Agreement for Engineering Services," is satisfactory
and should be approved.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that the agreement entitled 'First
Amended Agreement for Engineering Services" this day submitted
to the City Council to be made and entered into by and between
the City of Anaheim and R. W. Beck and Associates, amending
that certain contract entered into between the parties on
June 27, 1967 as set forth in said First Amended Agreement, be,
and the same is hereby approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk
be, and they are hereby authorized to execute said agreement
for and on behalf of the City of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by
me this 28th day of June, 1968.
