A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING AN EASEMENT GRANT DEED
CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL
PROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC
UTILITY PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for road and
public utility purposes
and
WHEREAS, the owners of said property ha ve offered
to sell and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of
THOMAS E. HARRISON and CLARICE F. HARRISON
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real
property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, to be used for an easement for road and
public utility purposes
and more particularly described as follows:
An easement for road and public utility purposes over,
under and across those parcels of land being a portion
of the Southeast quarter of the Southwest quarter of
Section 9, Township 4 South, Range 10 West, S.B.B. M.
described as follows:
PARCEL ONE: Beginning at a point in the West line of the
Southeast quarter of the Southwest quarter of said Section 9,
said point being 220.00 feet North of the Southwest corner
of the Southeast quarter of the Southwest quarter of said
Section 9; thence North 89 16' 54" East 32.00 feet; thence
South 0 43' 06" East 44.03 feet; thence North 87 37' 38"
West 7.02 feet; thence North 84 21 01" West 25.15 feet to
the intersection with the West line of the Southeast quarter
of the Southwest quarter of said Section 9; thence North
0 43' 06" West 40.86 feet to the point of beginning.
PARCEL TWO: Commencing at a point in the West line of the
Southeast quarter of the Southwest quarter of said Section 9,
distant thereon 418.11 feet North of said Southeast quarter
of the Southwest quarter, said point being the intersection
of the centerline of Loara Street and Manchester Avenue;
thence South 79 43' 06" East along the centerline of
Manchester Avenue 203.74 feet to the True Point of Beginning;
thence South 0 43' 06" East 45.84 feet; thence North
79 43' 06" West 112.06 feet; thence North 0 43' 06" West
45.84 feet to the intersection of the centerline of said
Manchester Avenue; thence South 79 43' 06" East 112.06
feet to the True Point of Beginning.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Finance
of the City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay
to the owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds
of the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
