A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED
CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL
PROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC
UTILITY PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for road
and public utility purposes
and
WHEREAS, the owner of said property ha s offered
to sell and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of ATLANTIC RICHFIELD COMPANY
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real
property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, to be used for an easement for road
and public utility purposes
and more particularly described as follows:
An easement for road and public utility purposes
over, under and across the Northerly 45 feet (as
measured at right angles to the center line of
Crescent Avenue) of that parcel of land described
as follows:
The Northeast quarter of the Southwest quarter of
Section 8, Township 4 South, Range 10 West, in the
Rancho Los Coyotes, as shown on a Map recorded in
Book 51, page 10 of Miscellaneous Maps, records
of said Orange County.
EXCEPTING THEREFROM any portion thereof lying
Easterly of a line described as follows:
Beginning at a 1 -1/4 inch iron pipe, with Licensed
Surveyor's tag number L.S. 2477 set in concrete, said
point being on the North line of said Southwest
quarter, distant North 89° 43' 22" West, along said
North line, 660.07 feet from the Northeast corner
of said Southwest quarter; thence South 0 00' 19"
West 1314.26 feet to a 1 -1/4 inch iron pipe, tagged
L.S. 2210, said pipe being distant North 89 36' 54"
West 661.03 feet from the Southeast corner of the
Northeast quarter, of the Southwest quarter of said
Section 8.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Finance
of the City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay
to the owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds
of the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 18th day of June 19 68
