RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM CONSENTING TO AND CALLING A JOINT
PUBLIC HEARING ON THE PROPOSED REDEVELOPMENT
PLAN FOR THE PLAZA REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT
WHEREAS, the Anaheim Community Redevelopment Commission
has prepared and will submit to the City Council of the City of
Anaheim a proposed Redevelopment Plan for the Plaza Redevelopment
Project, accompanied by the Commission's Report to the City Council
and Rules Governing Participation and Preferences by Property
Owners and Business Occupants; and
WHEREAS, Section 33355 of the California Community
Redevelopment Law (Health and Safety Code, Section 33300 et. seq.)
authorizes a joint public hearing on the proposed Redevelopment
Plan with the consent of the Commission, the Anaheim Redevelopment
Agency and the City Council°
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim as follows:
1. The City Council hereby consents to, and calls
for a joint public hearing of the Commission, the Agency and the
City Council in the Council Chambers, to consider and act upon the
proposed Redevelopment Plan and all documents and evidence
pertaining thereto. The time and date of such joint public hearing
shall be June 5, 1990, at 5:20 p.m. or as soon thereafter as the
matter may be heard.
2. The City Clerk of the City of Anaheim shall, on
cooperation with the Director of Community Development, prepare,
publish and mail such notices and documents and do all other acts
as may be necessary to carry out the purposes of this resolution.
