A RESOLUTION OF ThE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAEEI ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED CONVEYING
TO TEL CITY OF ANAHEIki. CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY
FOR i PURPOSES.
iiiiEREAS, E. C. DLVELOPLENT CO., a general partnership,
composed of The Colwell Company, a corporation, and Drattain Con-
tractors, Inc., a corporation, is the owner of the hereinafter
described real property situated in the City of Anaheim, County
of Orange, State of California, and
WHEREAS, said owner has offered to sell said property
to the City of Anaheim for the sum of One Dollar and otner good
and valuable consideration: and
WHEREAS, the City Council does fin& and determine that
public convenience and necessity require the purchase and acquisi-
tion of said real property for municipal purposes, and that the
price which the owner thereof is willing to accept is fair and
reasonable.
NOW, THEREFORE, LE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of E. C. DEVELOPnENT CO.,
a general partnership, composed of The Colwell Company, a cor-
poration, and Brattain Contractors, Inc., a corporation, to sell
to the City of Anaheim all that real property situated in the
City of Anaheim. County of Orange, State of California, described
as follows, to wit:
That portion of the Jonathan Watson Tract, as per Lap
filed in Book 2, page 26-l/2 of Record of Surveys, in
the office of the County Recorder of said Orange County,
together with that portion of Block 36 of the Yorba
Linda Tract, as per nap recorded in Look 5, page 17 of
Miscellaneous Maps, records of said Orange County, and
that portion of th ia..f allotted te Jesus i_lson
de Snorb in the Decree of Partition of the Rancho
Santiago de Santa Ana recorded in Book '3" of Judgments
of the 17th Judicial District Court of California, and
that portion of the land allotted to the heirs of Le,andro
Serrano in said decree, described as follows.
