A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEII:i ACCEPTING TEE GRANT DEED OF LOUIE
J. HEFFNER; ORDERING RECORDATION THEREOF; AND
AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING PAYLIENT THEREFOR.
WHEREAS, on ifiay 3, 1963, the City of Anaheim uia,
tnrougn its Assistant City Robert U. Davis, offer to
purchase the nereinafter described property from Louie J. Heffner
for the sum of $23,000.00, and
WHEREAS, said Louie J. Heffner, through his real estate
broker, Rev Real Estate, did accept tie offer of the City of
Ananeim, directing that delinquent taxes and real estate commis-
sion be deducted from said consideration of $23,000.00; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that it is in the best
interests of the City of Anaheim to purchase said property and
to accept the deed therefor tendered by said Louie J. Heffner; and
WHEREAS, the property to which reference has been made
is described as follows:
All that real property situated in the City of Anaheim,
County of Orange, State of California, described as
Lots 19 and 20 in Block E of the Center Tract, as shown
on a Map recorded in Look 14, page 13 of Miscellaneous
Records of Los Angeles County, California.
AND WHEREAS, tie City Council finds that said deed
should be recorded and payment therefor made in accordance with
the wishes of the grantor.
NOW, THEREFORE, 13E IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that it accept, and it does hereby accept,
the grant deed of Louie J. Heffner covering the above-described
property, and that it order, and it does hereby order, that the
same be recordea.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Finance be,
and he is hereby authorize d. and directed to deliver to the office
of the City Attorney City warrants as follows: in favor of Orange
County Tax Collector in the sum of $483.49; in favor of Rev Real
Estate in the sum of $1,300.00 and in favor of Louie J. Heffner
in the sum of $21,136.51, the latter warrant to indicate the pay-
ments made to said Tax Collector and Rev Real Estate: said funds
are authorized out of the Capital Outlay Fund.
AND BE IT FURThER RESOLVED that the Right of Wav
Division of tne City of Anaheim be, and it is hereby directed,
in connection witii the recordation of saic:', deed, to delay re-
cording thereof until it is satisfied that there are no encum-
brances against said prooerty, and after recordinf to certify
such fact to the office of tne Cit Attorney.

hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution No. 68R -299 was introduced
and adopted at a regular meeting provided by law, of the City Council
of the City of Anaheim, held on the 28th day of May, 1968, by the following
vote of the members thereof:

NOES: COUNCILMEN: None
ABSENT: COUNCILMEN: None
AND I FURTHER CERTIFY that the Mayor of the City of Anaheim approved
and signed said Resolution No. 68R -299 on the 28th day of May, 1968.
