A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING AN EASEMENT GRANT DEED
CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL
PROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT FOR FOR DRAINAGE
PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for drainage
purposes
and
WHEREAS, the owner of said property has offered
to sell and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of
ORANGE COUNTY WATER DISTRICT, a body politic,
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real
property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, to be used for an easement for drainage
purposes
and more particularly described as follows:
A drainage easement over, under and across a portion of
Lot 4, Section 4, Township 4 South, Range 9 West, S.B.B.
M., being described as follows:
Commencing at the Northwest corner of Lot 6 of the J. D.
Taylor Tract, as per Map recorded in Book 36, pages 58, 59
and 60 of Miscellaneous Records of Los Angeles County,
California; thence North 84° 51' 05" East 158.21 feet, to
an angle point in the North line of said Lot 6; thence North
61° 27' 05" East along the North line of said Lot 6 and the
Easterly prolongation thereof 428.50 feet, to the True Point
of Beginning; thence North 18° 33' 10" West 97.28 feet;
thence North 71° 26' 50" East 30.00 feet; thence South 18°
33' 10" East 92.00 feet; thence South 61° 27' 05" West 30.46
feet to the True Point of Beginning.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Finance
of the City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay
to the owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds
of the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 28th day of May 19 68
