A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING AN EASEMENT GRANT DEED
CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL
PROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC
UTILITY PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for road and
public utility purposes
and
WHEREAS, the owners of said property have offered
to sell and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, TI-IEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of
BERNARD A. STOFFEL and EMMA G. STOFFEL,
husband and wife,
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real
property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, to be used for an easement for road and
public utility purposes
and more particularly described as follows:
An easement for road and public utility purposes over,
under and across the Easterly 5.25 feet of the Easterly
125 feet of that portion of Lot 42, Anaheim Extension,
as shown on a Map of Survey made by Wm. Hamel and filed
for record in the office of the County Recorder of Los
Angeles County, California, more particularly described
as follows:
Beginning at a point on the monumented centerline of
Anaheim Boulevard, formerly known as Los Angeles, 372
feet Northerly from the monument marking the intersection
of the monumented centerline of Anaheim Boulevard with
the centerline of North Street; thence Westerly parallel
to said centerline of North Street, 34.75 feet to the true
point of beginning of the parcel to be described; thence
Westerly parallel to said monumented centerline of North
Street, 250 feet to the present Easterly line of Zeyn
Street; thence Southerly parallel to said centerline of
Anaheim Boulevard, 202 feet; thence Easterly parallel to
said centerline of North Street, 250 feet to a point
34.75 feet Westerly at right angles from said centerline
of Anaheim Boulevard, which point is also on the Westerly
line of Anaheim Boulevard; thence Northerly parallel to
said centerline of Anaheim Boulevard, 202 feet to the
true point of beginning.
Excepting therefrom the Southerly 100 feet.

be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Finance
of the City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay
to the owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds
of the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 28th day of May 68
