90-120 RESOLUTION NO. 90R-120
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM APPROVING AN AMENDMENT TO THE LAND
USE ELEMENT OF THE ANAHEIM GENERAL PLAN DESIG-
NATED AS AMENDMENTS NO. 291-1 AND 291-2,
EXHIBIT "A."
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim, pursuant to the
recommendations of the Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim,
adopted a General Plan for the City of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, on the 26th day of February, 1990, the City
Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim did hold a public
hearing to consider General Plan Amendments. The General Plan
Amendments consider changing the land use designation for the area
of land designated as Area i consisting of approximately 2.0 acres
located west of the northwest corner of Ball Road and Dale Avenue,
beginning approximately 180 feet west of the centerline of Dale
Avenue, having a frontage of approximately 144 feet on the north
side of Ball Road and extending north approximately 590 feet; and
for the area of land designated as Area 2 consisting of
approximately 0.56 acre located on the southwest corner of Devoy
Drive and Dale Avenue, having approximate frontages of 144 feet on
the south side of Devoy Drive and 135 feet on the west side of
Dale Avenue; and
WHEREAS, at said public hearing, the City Planning
Commission did duly adopt its Resolution No. PC90-51 containing a
report of its findings, a summary of the evidence presented at
said hearing, and recommending that said Amendment to the General
Plan designated as Amendments No. 291-1 and 291-2 be adopted by
the City Council changing the land use designation for the
aforedescribed Area 1 to "General Commercial" and for the
aforedescribed Area 2 to "Low Density Residential," in accordance
with Exhibit "A"; and
WHEREAS, upon receipt of said Resolution, summary of
evidence, report of findings and recommendations of the City
Planning Commission, the City Council did fix the l?th day of
April, 1990, as the time, and the City Council Chamber in the
Civic Center as the place for a public hearing on said proposed
Amendments No. 291-1 and 291-2 and did give notice thereof in the
manner and as provided by law; and
WHEREAS, the City Council did duly hold and conduct such
public hearing and did give all persons interested therein an
opportunity to be heard, and did receive evidence and reports and
did consider the recommendations of the City Planning Commission;
and

WHEREAS, the City Council does find and determine that
Amendments No. 291-1 and 291-2 changing the land use designation
in the aforedescribed areas in accordance with Exhibit "A" on file
with the City should be approved.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that Amendments No. 291-1 and 291-2 to the
General Plan changing the land use designation for the
aforedescribed Area 1 to "General Commercial" and for the
aforedescribed Area 2 to "Low Density Residential" in accordance
with Exhibit "A" on file with the City be, and the same are
hereby, approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Planning Department be,
and it is hereby, instructed to amend the General Plan Map to
conform to General Plan Amendments No. 291-1 and 291-2 as herein
adopted and approved.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Anaheim this 17th day of April, 1990.
