RESOLUTION NO. 68R -285
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM FINDING AND DETERMINING
THAT NO OBJECTIONS WERE MADE TO THE
PROPOSED REMOVAL OF WEEDS GROWING UPON
ANY PARCEL OR PARCELS OF REAL PROPERTY
OR ANY PUBLIC STREET IN THE CITY OF ANAHEIM;
AND ORDERING THE SUPERINTENDENT OF STREETS
TO REMOVE SAID WEEDS AND CHARGE THE COST
OF SUCH REMOVAL TO THE LOTS OR PARCELS
CLEANED AND TO THE PROPERTY ADJACENT TO
THE STREETS OR ALLEYS CLEANED.
WHEREAS, the City Council did on May 23, 1968 adopt
Resolution No. 68R -216 directing the City Clerk to set Tuesday,
May 28, 1968, at 1:30 P.M., in the Council Chambers, in the
City Hall, City of Anaheim, as the time and place for the
hearing of objections to the proposed removal of all weeds
growing upon vacant lots, parcels of land, and streets or alleys
adjacent thereto, in the City of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, the Superintendent of Streets did cause
notices of said hearing to be posted as required by law, at
least five days prior to the time set for said hearing of
objections; and
WHEREAS, the City Council did, at the time and place
aforesaid, hold and conduct such hearing; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find that no objections
were made at said hearing to the proposed removal of said weeds.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that it does hereby find and determine that
no objections were made to the proposed removal of all weeds
growing upon vacant lots, parcels of land, and streets or alleys
adjacent thereto, in the City of Anaheim.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Superintendent of
Streets be, and he is hereby ordered to remove said weeds and
to charge the cost of such removal to the lots or parcels
cleaned and to the property adjacent to the streets or alleys
cleaned by said Superintendent of Streets.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by
me this 28th day of May, 1968.
