A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING
THE EXECUTION OF AN "AGREEMENT FOR PRIVATE
OR FARM CROSSING" WITH THE ATCHISON, TOPEKA
AND SANTA FE RAILWAY COMPANY, LICENSING AND
PERMITTING THE CITY TO CROSS FOR PRIVATE
PURPOSES THE RIGHT -OF -WAY AND TRACKS OF
SAID RAILWAY COMPANY AT OR NEAR ORANGE,
ORANGE COUNTY, CALIFORNIA.
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim has requested per-
mission of The Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway Company
to cross for private purposes the right -of -way and tracks of
said Railway Company at or near Orange, Orange County,
California, the exact location being more particularly
hereinafter described; and
WHEREAS, The Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway
Company, a Kansas Corporation, has tendered to the City of
Anaheim an agreement, entitled "Agreement for Private or
Farm Crossing," dated April 1, 1966, to be made and entered
into by and between the parties, giving to the City license
and permission to enter upon and cross for private purposes
said Railway Company's right -of -way and tracks at the loca-
tion and in the manner shown upon the print attached to said
agreement, numbered L- 5- 27931, dated March 21, 1966, last
revised July 7, 1966, and marked "Exhibit A," subject to the
terms, covenants and conditions set forth in said agreement,
and for a license fee of $50.00 payable in advance; and
WHEREAS, said "Agreement for Private or Farm Cross-
ing" has this day been submitted to the City Council for
consideration and the City Council does find and determine
that it would be for the benefit and in the best interest
of the City of Anaheim to enter into said agreement with
said Railway Company.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that the agreement, entitled "Agreement
for Private or Farm Crossing," dated April 1, 1966, tendered
to the City of Anaheim by The Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe
Railway Company, a Kansas Corporation, granting to the City
license and permission to enter upon and cross for private
purposes said Railway Company's right -of -way and tracks at
the location and in the manner shown upon the print attached
to said agreement, numbered L- 5- 27931, dated March 21, 1966,
last revised July 7, 1966, and marked "Exhibit A," subject
to the terms, covenants and conditions set forth in said
agreement, be, and the same is hereby approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City
Clerk be, and they are hereby authorized to execute said
agreement for and on behalf of the City of Anaheim.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of
Finance be, and he is hereby authorized to draw a draft
payable to The Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway
Company in the amount of $50.00, and deliver the same to
the City Clerk to be forwarded to said Railway Company
with said agreement.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed
be me this 21st day of May, 1968.
