1968-273RESOLUTION NO. 68R -273 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING AN EASEMENT DEED CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC UTILITY PURPOSES. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for road and public utility purposes and WHEREAS, the owners of said property have offered to sell and convey the same to the City; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Anaheim that the offer of GERTRUDE CHAPMAN KRULL, a married woman, as her sole and separate property, and MOBIL OIL CORPORATION, successor in interest to GENERAL PETROLEUM CORPORA- TION, a Delaware corporation, as Lessee, to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, to be used for an easement for road and public utility purposes and more particularly described as follows: An easement for road and public utility purposes over, under and across the Westerly 53.00 feet (as measured at right angles from the centerline of State College Boule- vard, formerly known as Cypress Street) of that portion of Lot 4 of the South Placentia Tract No. 2, as shown on a Map recorded in Book 5, page 42 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County, California, described as follows: Beginning at the Southwest corner of said Lot 4, said cor- ner having been construed by former deeds to be the inter- section of the "West line of Section 1, Township 4 South, Range 10 West, S.B.B. M." as shown on said map with the Westerly prolongation of the Southerly line of Lot 2 of said Tract; thence Northerly 199.52 feet along said West line; thence Easterly 197.32 feet parallel with the North line of said Lot 4; thence Southerly parallel with said West line to the Southeasterly line of said Lot 4 which has been construed by former deeds to the centerline of the unnamed street now known as Placentia Boulevard along the Southeast- erly side of said Lot 4; thence Southwesterly along said Southeasterly line to the said Westerly prolongation of the Southerly line of said Lot 2; thence Westerly 85.90 feet along said prolongation to the point of beginning. Said land is included within the area shown on a Map filed in Book 18, page 14 of Record of Surveys, in the office of the County Recorder of said County. -1- be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey- ance of said property. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Finance of the City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds of the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
