A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING AN EASEMENT DEED
CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL
PROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC
UTILITY PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for road and public
utility purposes
and
WHEREAS, the owner of said property has offered
to sell and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of E C DEVELOPMENT CO., a
general partnership, composed of The Colwell Company, a corpora-
tion, and Brattain Contractors, Inc., a corporation,
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real
property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, to be used for an easement for road and
public utility purposes
and more particularly described as follows:
An easement for road and public utility purposes over, under
and across that portion of the Jonathan Watson Tract, as per
Map filed in Book 2, page 26 -1/2 of Record of Surveys, in the
office of the County Recorder of Orange County, California,
together with that portion of Block 36 of the Yorba Linda Tract,
as per Map recorded in Book 5, page 17 of Miscellaneous Maps,
records of said Orange County, and that portion of the land
allotted to Maria Jesus Wilson de Shorb in the Decree of Parti-
tion of the Rancho Santiago de Santa Ana, recorded in Book "B"
of Judgments of the 17th Judicial District Court of California,
and that portion of the land allotted to the heirs of Leandro
Serrano in said decree, described as follows:
Commencing at the Northeasterly corner of Lot 82 of Tract 5409,
as shown on a Map recorded in Book 217, pages 45 through 48, in-
clusive, of Miscellaneous Maps, records of said Orange County;
thence North 56° 30' 10" East 13.42 feet to the true point of
beginning; thence North 56° 30' 10" East 396.25 feet to the be-
ginning of a tangent curve concave Southeasterly and having a
radius of 960 feet; thence Northerly and Easterly along said
curve through a central angle of 23° 56' 25" an arc distance of
401.12 feet to a point, a radial line bearing North 9° 33' 25"
West passes through said point; thence North 80° 26' 35" East
34.26 feet; thence North 9° 33' 25" West 80.00 feet; thence
South 80° 26' 35" West 34.26 feet to the beginning of a tangent
curve concave Southeasterly and having a radius of 1040 feet, a
radial line bearing North 9° 33' 25" West passes through the point
of beginning of said curve; thence Westerly and Southerly along
said curve through a central angle of 23° 56' 25" an arc distance
of 434.55 feet to a point, a radial line bearing North 33° 29' 50"
West passes through said point; thence South 56° 30' 10" West
396.25 feet; thence South 33° 29' 50" East 80 feet to the true
point of beginning.

be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Finance
of the City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay
to the owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds
of the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
