A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING AN EASEMENT DEED
CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL
PROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT FOR SEWER LINE
PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for sewer line
purposes
and
WHEREAS, the owner of said property has offered
to sell and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of E C DEVELOPMENT CO., a
general partnership, composed of The Colwell Company, a corpora-
tion. and Brattain Contractors. Inc., a corporation,
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real
property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, to be used for an easement for sewer line
purposes
An easement for sewer line purposes only over, under and across
that portion of the Jonathan Watson Tract, as per map filed in
Book 2, page 26 -1/2 of Record of Surveys, in the office of the
County Recorder of said Orange County, together with that portion
of Block 36 of the Yorba Linda Tract, as per Map recorded in
Book 5, page 17 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of said Orange
County, and that portion of the land allotted to Maria Jesus
Wilson de Shorb in the Decree of Partition of the Rancho Santiago
de Santa Ana, recorded in Book "B" of Judgments of the 17th
Judicial District Court of California, that that portion of the
land allotted to the heirs of Leandro Serrano in said decree,
described as follows:
Commencing at the intersection of the centerline of Addington
Drive and the Easterly line of Tract 6375, as shown on a Map
recorded in Book 233, pages 31 and 32 of Miscellaneous Maps,
records of said Orange County; thence North 47° 39' 14" East
123.30 feet to the beginning of a tangent curve concave South-
easterly and having a radius of 1,018.50 feet; thence Easterly
and Southerly along said curve through a central angle of 6° 36'
18" an arc distance of 117.41 feet to a point; thence South 35°
44' 28" East, 1.96 feet to the true point of beginning; thence
North 53° 39' 14" East, 67.97 feet; thence South 39° 50' 52" East,
145.13 feet to a point in the Northwesterly line of the Santa
Ana Valley Irrigation Co. Canal described in deed recorded July
18, 1934 in Book 685, page 255 of said Official Records; thence
Northeasterly along said Northwesterly line, a distance of 10.14
feet; thence North 39° 50' 52" West 156.23 feet; thence South
53° 39' 14" West, 77.27 feet; thence South 35° 49' 28" East, 10
feet to the true point of beginning.
and more particularly described as follows:

be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Finance
of the City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay
to the owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds
of the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 21st day of May 19 68.
