RESOLUTION NO. 68R- 263
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE
EXECUTION OF CONSENT TO CONDEMNATION FOR
EXCHANGE PURPOSES, PURSUANT TO SECTION 104.2
STREETS AND HIGHWAYS CODE.
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim is occupying and using
certain sewer and power facilities easements which will have to
be relocated in connection with the construction of the Riverside
Freeway; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 104.2 of the Streets and
Highways Code of the State of California, the Division of High-
ways of the State of California can and will acquire substitute
easements to accommodate the relocated sewer and power facilities,
if the City consents thereto; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that it is in the best
interests of the City of Anaheim to consent. to such action by
the Division of Highways.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that it authorize and direct, and it does
hereby authorize and direct, its Mayor and City Clerk to execute
on behalf of the City of Anaheim. the "Consent to Condemnation for
Exchange Purposes pursuant to Section 104.2 of the Streets and
Highways Code" as the same has been heretofore submitted to the
City for execution.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 14th day of May, 1966.
