A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED
CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL
PROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC
UTILITY PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for read
and public utility purposes
and
WHEREAS, the owner s of said property have offered
to sell and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of PETE J. MARINO and
NORMA S. MARINO, husband and wife,
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real
property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, to be used for an easement for road
and public utility purposes
and more particularly described as follows:
An easement for road and public utility purposes
over, under and across the Easterly five (5) feet
of the following described parcel of land:
The East 300 feet of Lot 1 of Tract 2854, as per
Map recorded in Book 90, pages 39 and 40 of Mis-
cellaneous Maps, records of said Orange County.
EXCEPT the North 960 feet thereof.
ALSO EXCEPT that portion lying South of a line
parallel with and 210 feet North of the South
line of the Southeast quarter of Section 21,
Township 4 South, Range 10 West, in the Rancho
San Juan Cajon de Santa Ana, as shown on a Map
recorded in Book 51, page 10 of Miscellaneous
Maps, records of said Orange County.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Finance
of the City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay
to the owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds
of the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 14th day of May 19 68
