A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM CONSENTING TO THE REMOVAL
OF CERTAIN DEED RESTRICTIONS PLACED OF
RECORD IN CONNECTION WITH RECLASSIFICATION
NO. 61- 62 -24.
WHEREAS, the City Council did heretofore, to wit, on
October 31, 1961, adopt Resolution No. 7306 in Reclassification
Proceedings No. 61- 62 -24, finding and determining that the prop-
erty and area therein described should be changed from R -1, ONE
FAMILY RESIDENTIAL ZONE to C -1, NEIGHBORHOOD- COMMERCIAL ZONE,
subject to certain conditions therein set forth; and
WHEREAS, Condition No. 1 of said resolution required
the owners of subject property to place of record City of Anaheim
C -1 Deed Restrictions limiting the uses of the property to busi-
ness and professional offices only; and
WHEREAS, said C -1 Deed Restrictions were duly recorded
in Official Records of Orange County, California on November 27,
1961, in Book 5924, pages 278, 279 and 280, Document No. 17454;
and
WHEREAS, on or about March 8, 1968, the owners of sub-
ject property filed a petition with the City of Anaheim requesting
that the consent of the City be given to the removal of said deed
restrictions to permit the full C -1 uses of subject property; and
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission, after having held
a public hearing on said petition, due notice thereof having been
given in the manner and as prescribed by law, did adopt Resolution
No. PC68 -110 recommending to the City Council that said request
be granted; and
WHEREAS, the City Council did set said petition for
public hearing on May 14, 1968 and did hold said hearing, due
notice thereof having been given as required by law, and did give
all persons interested therein an opportunity to be heard and did
consider the recommendations of the City Planning Commission; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find that the consent of
the City of Anaheim should be given to the removal of said C -1
Deed Restrictions from the property described in said Reclassifi-
cation Proceedings No. 61 -62 -24 and hereinafter described.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the consent of the City of Anaheim be,
and the same is hereby given to the removal of those certain C -1
Deed Restrictions recorded on November 27, 1961 in Book 5924,
Pages 278, 279 and 280, Official Records of Orange County, Cali-
fornia, Document No. 17454, from the following described real
property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State
of California, to wit:
Lot 77 of Tract No. 2402, as shown on a map
recorded in Book 79, Pages 37, 38 and 39 of
Miscellaneous Maps, Records of Orange County,
California.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk be,
and they are hereby authorized to sign said consent to the removal
of said deed restrictions, for and on behalf of the City of
Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 14th day of May, 1968.
