A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED
CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL
PROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ALLEY PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for alley
purposes
and
WHEREAS, the owner s of said property ha ve offered
to sell and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of FRANK B. GOLEMBA and
EVELYN E. GOLEMBA, husband and wife,
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real
property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, to be used for an easement for alley
purposes
and more particularly described as follows:
An easement for alley purposes over, under
and across the Westerly 5 feet of that parcel
of land described as follows:
Lot 4 in Block "E" of Tract No. 23, Zeyn Tract
Annex No. 2, as per Map recorded in Book 9,
page 24 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of
said Orange County, California.
EXCEPT THEREFROM the Easterly 5.25 feet thereof
and all of that portion of said lot lying between
the Westerly line of North Los Angeles Street and
a line parallel with and distant 40 feet Westerly
at right angles from the monumented center line
of said North Los Angeles Street, as conveyed
to the City of Anaheim for the widening of North
Los Angeles Street by deed recorded December 2,
1937 in Book 891, page 428 of Official Records.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds of
the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
