RESOLUTION NO. 68R- 197
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING AN EASEMENT GRANT DEED
CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL
PROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC
UTILITY PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for road and
public utility purposes
and
WHEREAS, the owner of said property has offered
and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
of Anaheim that the offer of
ANAHFTM MEMORIAL HOSPITAL ASSOCIATION,
a California corporation,
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real
property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, to be used for an easement for road and
public utility purposes
and more particularly described as follows:
An easement for road and public utility purposes over,
under and across that portion of Lot 1 of Tract No. 1691,
as shown on a Map thereof recorded in Book 52, pages 18
and 19 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of said Orange
County, described as follows:
Beginning at the centerline intersection of La Palma
Avenue and Lombard Drive, as said intersection is shown
on the Map of said Tract No. 1691, thence South 89° 45'
22" East along the centerline of said La Palma Avenue, a
distance of 125 feet; thence North 0° 03' 28" East, a
distance of 53 feet to a point in a line that is parallel
with and 53 feet Northerly, as measured at right angles
from the centerline of said La Palma Avenue; thence North
89° 45' 22" West along said parallel line a distance of
85.05 feet to the beginning of a tangent curve concave
Northeasterly and having a radius of 15 feet; thence
Westerly and Northerly along said curve through a central
angle of 89° 48' 50" an arc distance of 23.51 feet to a
point in the West line of said Lot 1 of Tract No. 1691;
thence North 89° 45' 22" West a distance of 25 feet to
the centerline of said Lombard Drive; thence South 0
03' 28" West along said centerline, a distance of 67.95
feet to the point of beginning.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds of
the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
