A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEII'i ACCEPTING AN EASEMENT DEED
CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL
PROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC
UTILITY PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for road and
public utility purposes
and
WHEREAS, the owner of said property has offered
to sell and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of
PALMALL PROPERTIES, INC., a corporation,
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real
property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, to be used for an easement for road and
ruhlir utility purposes
and more particularly described as follows:
An easement for road and public utility purposes over,
under and across that certain land in the State of Cali-
fornia, County of Orange, City of Anaheim, as shown on a
Map of Survey by William Hamel filed in the office of the
County Recorder of Los Angeles County, a copy of which is
recorded in Book 3, pages 163 and following, entitled
"Los Angeles County Maps", in the office of the County
Recorder of said Orange County, described as follows:
Beginning at a point on the centerline of West Broadway,
which said point is 133.15 feet East of a cement monument
marking the Northwest corner of Lot 47 of "Anaheim Exten-
sion," as shown on said r'ap of Survey By Wm. Hamel;
thence North 89° 01' 20" East, along said centerline of
West Broadway and its Easterly prolongation, a distance
of 213.44 feet to an intersection with the centerline of
Hessell Street; thence South 2° 06' 40" East, along the
centerline of said Hessell Street, 282.24 feet; thence
South 88° 44' 26" West 30 feet to a point on a line that
is parallel with and distant 30 feet Westerly of said cen-
terline of Hessell Street; thence North 2° 06' 40` West,
along said parallel line, a distance 'of 222.67 feet to the
beginning of a tangent curve concave Southwesterly and
having a radius of 15 feet; thence Northerly and Westerly
along said curve through a central angle of 88° 52' 00" an
arc distance of 23.27 feet to a point on a line that is
parallel with and distant 45 feet Southerly of the center-
line of said West Broadway; thence South 39° 01' 20" West,
along said parallel line, 118.55 feet; thence North 0° 17'
20" East 45.01 feet to the point of beginning.

be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds of
the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 9th/ day of April 19 68.
