1968-176WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim desires to employ a swim- ming instructor, and WHEREAS, Jon Ubanchek is qualified as a swimming in- structor, and desires to be employed by the City as such swim- ming instructor; and WHEREAS, a form of agreement, dated Larch 1, 1963, has this day been submitted to the City Council to be made and entered into by and between the parties, providing for the employment of said Jon Ubanchek as a competitive swim coach, upon the terms and conditions therein set forth, which agreement the City Council finds would be to the advantage and in the best interests of the City and should be approved. NO17, THEREFORE, EE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Anaheim that the agreement, dated Larch 1, 1968, this day submitted to the City Council to be made and entered into between the parties,providing for the employment by the City of Jon Ubanchek as a competitive swim coach, upon the following terms and conditions: RESOLUTION NO. 68R- 176 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF TEE CITY OF ANAHEIL APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AN AGREENENT ELPLOYING JON UEANChEK AS A C(J2LTITIVE SL II COACH. 1. The City snail agree to engage the service of Jon Ubanchek as a competitive swix coach, and Jon Ubanchek shall agree to conduct practices, work- outs, and swim reet assignments, as to the following schedule: September through Lay: 5 days per week at 2-1/2 hours per day. 2 swim meets per month. June through August: 5 days per week at 4-1/2 hours per day. 4 swim meets per month. 2. The City shall agree to pay to Jon Ubanchek the amount of $200.00 per month, to be paid in equal amounts ii-weekly, from the lst day of September to the 31st day of Lay. Jon Ubanchek shall also receive the amount of $350.00 per month, to be paid in equal amounts bi-weekly, from the lst day of June to the 31st day of August. 3. In the event that the revenues from said comTPetitive swim program are insufficient to meet the total expenses, it shall be understood that the cost beyond revenue will be borne by Jon Ubanchek. Registrations shall not exceed the total of 90 swimmers, and shall not be less tnan 45 swimmers. -1- 4.
