A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ESTABLISHING NO PARKING AREAS ON
PORTIONS OF STATE COLLEGE BOULEVARD.
WHEREAS, the Division of Highways of the State of
California is contemplating the signalization of State College
Boulevard at Orangewood Avenue and the modification of traffic
signals at State College Boulevard and Ball Road, and State
College Boulevard and Katella Avenue, and
WHEREAS, in connection with such signalization and
modification of traffic signals, the Division of Highways of
the State of California has requested that parking be prohibited
at all times on those portions of State College Boulevard here-
inafter designated; and
WHEREAS, Section 22506 of the Vehicle Code of the
State of California authorizes the City Council to restrict or
prohibit the parking of vehicles on a State Highway, if the
resolution is first submitted to and approved, in writing, by
the Department of Public Works.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that it shall be unlawful for any person to
park or leave parked any vehicle, at any time, on the following
portions of State College Boulevard:
(a) On State College Boulevard, on the east side,
from Ball Road to 630 feet north of Ball Road;
from Ball Road to 630 feet south of Ball Road;
from Katella Avenue to 630 feet north of Katella Avenue;
from Katella Avenue to 630 feet south of Katella Avenue;
from Orangewood Avenue to 630 feet north of Orangewood
Avenue;
from Orangewood Avenue to 630 feet south of Orangewood
Avenue; and
(b) On State College Boulevard, on the west side,
from Katella Avenue to 630 feet north of Katella Avenue;
from Katella Avenue to 630 feet south of Katella Avenue; and
from Orangewood Avenue to 630 feet north of Orangewood
Avenue.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this resolution shall go
into effect immediately upon approval, in writing, by the Depart-
ment of Public Works of the State of California.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 19th day of March, 1968.
