1968-159RESOLUTION NO. 68R -159 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAND AND PUBLIC UTILITY PURPOSES. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for road and public utility purposes and WHEREAS, the owner of said property ha s offered to sell and convey the same to the City; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Anaheim that the offer of BEVERAGE DEVELOPERS, INC., a corporation organized under the laws of the State of California, to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, to be used for an easement for road and public utility purposes and more particularly described as follows: An easement for road and public utility purposes over, under and across that portion of that certain rectangular shaped parcel of land being the Station Grounds of The Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway Company in Vineyard Lot E -1 as said lot is shown on a Map recorded in Book 4 of Deeds, pages 629 and 630, Records of Los Angeles County, described as follows: Beginning in the Southeast corner of that certain parcel of land conveyed to the Beverage Developers, Inc., in Deed Number 3275 recorded September 7, 1967, in Book 8365, pages 214 through 222, Official Records, said Southeast corner being the inter- section of the southerly prolongation of the westerly right of way line of Vine Street, 60 feet in width, with the Northerly right of way line of Broadway, 80 feet in width; thence North 15 24' 28" West a distance of 14.99 feet to the beginning of a tangent curve concave Northwesterly and having a radius of 15 feet, a radial line bearing North 74 35' 32" East passes through the point of beginning of said curve; thence Southerly and Westerly along said curve through a central angle of 89 58' 30' an arc distance of 23.56 feet; thence North 74° 37' 02" East a distance of 14.99 feet to the point of beginning. -1- be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey- ance of said property. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds of the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
