A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ORDERING THE VACATION AND ABANDON-
MENT OF A CERTAIN PUBLIC SERVICE EASEMENT.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim has
elected to proceed pursuant to the provisions of the Public
Services Easements Vacation Law (Section 50430 et seq. Government
Code) in connection with the vacation and abandonment of public
service easements; and
WHEREAS, the City Council did, by resolution duly posted
and published, give notice of its intention to abandon the follow-
ing described public service easement (hereinafter "Easement
to wit:
That certain easement for sanitary sewer purposes
described in deed recorded in Book 11998, pages
1109 and 1110, Official Records, located in the City
of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, de-
scribed as follows:
That portion of Lot 7 of the Travis Tract, as shown
on a map thereof recorded in Book 5, page 120, Miscel-
laneous Records of Los Angeles County, described as
follows:
A strip of land 10.00 feet in width lying 5.00 feet
either side of the centerline of which is described
as follows: Beginning at the intersection of the
centerline of Katelia Avenue 120.00 feet wide with
the centerline of Douglass Street 60.00 feet wide;
thence N 88° 53' 52" W along said centerline of
Katelia Avenue 8.00 feet; thence S 6 28' 38" W,
33.17 feet to a tangent curve concave westerly having
a radius of 150.00 feet; thence along said curve an
arc distance of 80.34 feet through a central angle
of 30 41' 10" to a point of reverse curve; thence
continuing southerly along said reverse curve hav-
ing a radius of 150.00 feet an arc length of 80.34
feet through a central angle of 30° 41' 10" to a
line that is parallel with the centerline of said
Douglass Street and 50.00 feet westerly of said
centerline as measured at right angles; thence
along said parallel line S 6° 38' 38" W, 313.35
feet to a tangent curve concave westerly having a
radius of 400.00 feet; thence Southerly along said
curve an arc distance of 73.99 feet, more or less,
WHEREAS, on the 27th day of December, 1977, a public
hearing was held to allow interested persons to submit evidence
concerning said proposed abandonment; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim does
find from the evidence submitted to it, that said Easement is un-
necessary for present or prospective public use.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of
the City of Anaheim does hereby order the vacation and abandonment
of said Easement.
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be, and
she is hereby, authorized and directed, to cause a certified copy
of this Resolution and Order, attested by her under the seal of
the City of Anaheim to be recorded in the Office of the County Re-
corder of Orange County, California.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Anaheim this 27th day of December,
1977.

through a central angle of 10° 35' 53" to the south
erly line of said Lot 7. The sidelines of said
easement shall be prolonged or foreshortened to
terminate in the southeasterly line of said Lot 7.
Together with an access easement for sanitary sewer
maintenance described as follows: Beginning at the
centerline intersection of Katella Avenue and Doug-
lass Street; thence along the centerline of Douglass
Street S 6° 28' 38" W, 386.65 feet to the true point
of beginning; thence N 83° 31' 22" W, 55.00 feet;
thence N 6° 28' 38" E, 25.00 feet; thence S 83° 31'
22" E, 55.00 feet to the centerline of Douglass
Street; thence along said centerline S 6° 28' 38" W,
25.00 feet to the true point of beginning.
Excepting therefrom that portion of Lot 7 of the
Travis Tract within the street right of ways of
Katella Avenue and Douglass Street; and
