1977-840WHEREAS, the Personnel Director met and conferred with officials
and employee representatives of the Anaheim Police Association in October,
1977 to discuss wages, and
WHEREAS, as a result thereof, the need exists to create the new
job classes of Police Officer Helicopter Pilot- Senior Master Intermediate
and Police Officer Helicopter Pilot Senior Master Advanced for officers who
were assigned to Helicopter duty on October 14, 1977 and who were receiving
Senior Master Officer pay, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim does find that
creating the new job classes of Police Officer Helicopter Pilot- Senior
Master Intermediate and Police Officer Helicopter- Pilot Senior Master
Advanced is in the best interests of the City of Anaheim.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Anaheim that the new job classes be established as follows:
Section 1.
Effective October 14, 1977 through April 13, 1978 inclusive
employees who were assigned to Helicopter duty on October 14, 1977 and who
were receiving Senior Master Police Officer pay shall be assigned to the
classifications listed below and allocated to the following salary schedules
in the Salary Schedule Master.

were receiving Senior Master Police Officer pay shall be assigned to the
classifications listed below and allocated to the following salary schedules
in the Salary Schedule Master.

Effective October 13, 1978 through October 11, 1979 inclusive

were receiving Senior Master Police Officer pay shall be assigned to the
classifications listed below and allocated to the following salary schedules
in the Salary Schedule Master.

Salary Schedule Step Range
The regular hourly rate of pay and overtime compensation for
employees listed in Sections 1, 2, 3 and 4 of this resolution shall be
computed as provided in Personnel Rule 5, Hours of Work and Pay Day, and
Personnel Rule 6, Premium Pay. Furthermore, said employees shall be subject
to the provisions of Section 6.03, 6.06 and 6.35 of Personnel Rule 6, Premium
Pay and the provisions of Section 15.2 of Personnel Rule 15, Holidays.
