90-104 RESOLUTION NO. 90R-104
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM DISAPPROVING AN AMENDMENT TO THE
GENERAL PLAN DESIGNATED AS AMENDMENT NO. 276.
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim, pursuant to the
recommendations of the Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim,
adopted a General Plan for the City of Anaheim: and
WHEREAS, on the 15th day of January, 1990, the City
Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim did hold a public
hearing to consider a General Plan Amendment. The General Plan
Amendment does consider changing the land use designation for an
area consisting of approximately 18 acres, having a frontage of
approximately 485 feet on the north side of Lincoln Avenue, having
a maximum depth of approximately 1290 feet and being located
approximately 320 feet east of the centerline of Beach Boulevard
and further described as 2925 West Lincoln Avenue: and
WHEREAS, at said public hearing, the City Planning
Commission did duly adopt its Resolution No. PC90-14 containing a
report of its findings, a summary of the evidence presented at
said hearing, and a recommendation that said Amendment to the
General Plan designated as Amendment No. 276 not be adopted by the
City Council, changing the land use designation for the
aforedescribed area: and
WHEREAS, upon receipt of said Resolution, summary of
evidence, report of findings and recommendations of the City
Planning Commission, the City Council did fix the 3rd day of
April, 1990, as the time, and the city Council Chamber in the
Civic center as the place for a public hearing on said proposed
Amendment No. 276 and did give notice thereof in the manner and as
provided by law: and
WHEREAS, the City Council did duly hold and conduct such
public hearing and did give all persons interested therein an
opportunity to be heard, and did receive evidence and reports and
did consider the recommendations of the City Planning Commission:
and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find and determine that
Amendment No. 276 changing the land use designation in the
aforedescribed area in accordance with Exhibit "A" on file with
the City should not be approved.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim that Amendment No. 276 to the General Plan
changing the land use designation for the aforedescribed area in
accordance with Exhibit "A" on file with the City be, and the same
is hereby, disapproved.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION ie approved and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Anaheim thie 3rd day of April, 1990.
