A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ESTABLISHING CHARGES FOR COURTESY
FINGERPRINTING PERFORMED BY THE POLICE
DEPARTMENT.
WHEREAS, the Anaheim Police Department receives
numerous requests each week from persons to make courtesy
fingerprint cards and documents to be used by such persons
for purposes unrelated to City business; and
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim desires to accommodate
such requests and to provide courtesy fingerprintin`, to
individuals desiring this service; and
WHEREAS, a substantial amount of valuable time of
Police Department personnel is taken in providing this
service; and
WHEREAS, it is in the public interest and welfare
to establish a nominal fee for such service to offset City
costs incurred.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that a fee of Two Dollars ($2.00) per
person is hereby imposed for courtesy fingerprinting
services performed by the Anaheim Police Department. Said
fee shall be paid by cash, personal check, or money order at
the time the service is performed.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by
the City Council of the City of Anaheim this 13th tiay of
Der ember 1977.
