1977-788WHEREAS, Xonics, Inc. desires to maintain a temporary
air monitoring station for the purpose of monitoring air pollution
in the City of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, the City has space at its Chaparral Park site
for a nonpermanent installation of this type; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to work with Xonics,
Inc. and other agencies to assist in the accumulation of scienti-
fic information relating to environmental conditions in Anaheim;
and
WHEREAS, the City Council previously authorized the in-
stallation of such monitoring station at the Chaparral Park site
by Xonics, Inc.'s predecessor in interest; and
WHEREAS, an agreement has been submitted, the terms and
conditions of which are satisfactory to the City of Anaheim.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the agreement this day submitted to the
City Council providing for the granting by said City of a license
to Xonics, Inc. to perform certain services and maintain an air
pollution monitoring station at the Chaparral Park site, as more
specifically described therein, be, and the same is hereby,
approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk be,
and they are hereby, authorized and directed to execute said agree-
ment for and on behalf of the City of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Anaheim this 13th day of December
1977.
