A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF ThE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ORDERING TEE VACATION AND ABANDON-
MENT OF A CERTAIN PUBLIC SERVICE EASEMENT.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim has
elected to proceed Pursuant to the Provisions of the Public
Services Easements Vacation Law (Section 50430 et seq. Government
Code) in connection with the vacation and abandonment of Public
service easements; and
WHEREAS, the City Council did, by resolution duly posted
and published, give notice of its intention to abandon the follow-
ing described public service easement (hereinafter "Easement"),
to wit:
That portion of an existing five (5) foot overhang
easement located in the City of Anaheim, County of
Orange, State of California, described as follows:
The easterly five (5) feet of the southerly 26.60
feet of Lot One and the easterly five (5) feet of
the northerly 138.17 feet of Lot 2 all as shown on
a map of Tract No. 9336 recorded in Book 121, pages
8 and 9, Miscellaneous Maps, records of said Orange
County; and
WHEREAS, on the 22nd day of November, 1977, a public
hearing was held to allow interested persons to submit evidence
concerning said proposed abandonment; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheii does
find from the evidence submitted to it, that saii Easement is un-
necessary for present or prospective public use.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of
the City of Anaheim does hereby order the vacation and abandonment
of said Easement.
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that
she is hereby, authorized and directed to
of this Resolution and Order, attested by
the City of Anaheim to be recorded in the
corder of Orange County, California.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Anaheim this 22nd day of Nove ber,
1977.
