1977-755WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim desires to engage the ser-
vices of a qualified consultant to prepare a Noise Element for the
City's General Plan; and
WHEREAS, the services to be rendered are of a type and
complexity requiring services of a professional and technical
character and are of a temporary nature; and
WHEREAS, J. J. Van Houten Associates has experience
and knowledge in performing such work; and
WHEREAS, an agreement has been prepared, the terms and
conditions of which are satisfactory to the City of Anaheim.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the terms and conditions of an agreement
employing J. J. Van Houten Associates to perform professional
services in connection with the preparation of a Noise Element for
the City's General Plan be, and the same are hereby, approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk be,
and they are hereby, authorized and directed to execute said agree-
ment for and on behalf of the City of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Anaheim this 22nd day of November
1977.
