A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ORDERING THE VACATION AND ABANDON
MENT OF A CERTAIN PUBLIC SERVICE EASEMENT.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim has
elected to proceed pursuant to the provisions of the Public
Services Easements Vacation Law (Section 50430 et seq. Government
Code) in connection with the vacation and abandonment of public
service easements; and
WHEREAS, the City Council did, by resolution duly posted
and published, give notice of its intention to abandon the follow-
ing described public service easement (hereinafter "Easement
to wit:
That portion of those certain public utility easements
described in deed recorded in Book 3910, page 85, O.R.,
located in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State
of California, described as follows:
The southerly six (6) feet of the westerly 157 feet of
Lot 3 in Tract No. 3084, as shown on a map recorded in
Book 96, pages 39 and 40, Miscellaneous Maps, records
of said Orange County; and
WHEREAS, on the 15th day of November, 1977, a public
hearing was held to allow interested persons to submit evidence
concerning said proposed abandonment; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim does
find from the evidence submitted to it, that said Easement is un-
necessary for present or prospective public use.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of
the City of Anaheim does hereby order the vacation and abandonment
of said Easement.
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that
she is hereby, authorized and directed to
of this Resolution and Order, attested by
the City of Anaheim to be recorded in the
corder of Orange County, California.
