A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF TIIE CITY
OF ANAHEIM APPROVING A FIRST AMENDMENT TO
AGREEMENT WITH ARTHUR YOUNG AND COMPANY,
CERTIFIED PUBLIC ACCOUNTANTS, AND AUTHORIZ-
ING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE SAID
FIRST AMENDMENT ON BEHALF OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM.
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim and Arthur Young and Company
entered into an Agreement dated May 17, 1977, providing for a finan-
cial audit of the financial statements of City; and
WHEREAS, because of various delays in resolving problems
related primarily to property appraisal and restating prior year
accounts, Arthur Young and Company has requested an extension of
time to November 30, 1977, in which to complete said audit; and
WHEREAS, it is desirable to amend said Agreement between
City and Arthur Young and Company to provide for said extension of
time; and
WHEREAS, a First Amendment to Agreement has been prepared,
the terms and conditions of which are satisfactory to the City
Council.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of
the City of Anaheim does hereby approve a First Amendment to
Agreement with Arthur Young and Company for an extension of time
to November 30, 1977.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor
and they are hereby, authorized to execute said
to Agreement on behalf of the City of Anaheim.
