A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM DENYING VARIANCE NO. 2936.
WHEREAS, after a request for variance by WILLIAM M. and
BETTY JO CLOW, owners, was received, a public hearing before the
Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim was held upon due and
proper notice, a result of which Variance No. 2936 was denied cov-
ering the following described property:
Parcel I: The South 314.74 feet, measured from the
centerline of the street, of Lot 9 of "Orangewood
Tract as shown on a map recorded in book 7, page
42 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County
California.
Excepting therefrom the West 282 feet, measured
from the centerline of the street.
Parcel II: The South 220 feet, measured from the
centerline of the street, of Lot 10 of "Orangewood
Tract" as shown on a map recorded in book 7, page
42 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County
California.
Excepting therefrom the Easterly 495 feet.
WHEREAS, thereafter, within the time Prescribed by law,
an interested party or the City Council, on its own motion, caused
the review of said Planning Commission action at a public hearing
noticed and held as prescribed by law and, as a result thereof,
the City Council does hereby make the following findings:
1. That there are no special circumstances applicable to
the property which do not apply to other property in the same vi-
cinity and zone.
2. That strict application of the zoning code does not de-
prive the property of privileges enjoyed by other property in the
same vicinity and zone.
NOU, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that said Variance be, and the same is hereby,
denied.
